Founded in 1993, 蝌蚪传媒 develops future leaders for the democratic transformation of Central Asia. 蝌蚪传媒 is an international, multi-disciplinary learning community in the American liberal arts tradition. 蝌蚪传媒 is the first university in Central Asia to offer US accredited degrees in liberal arts programs through a partnership with Bard College in the United States. In addition to Bard, 蝌蚪传媒 maintains partnerships with a number of universities and organizations worldwide.
The Faculty Senate of 蝌蚪传媒 is established, and derives its authority, from the Charter of 蝌蚪传媒. Its function is to addresses all major academic policies, including curricular innovation, research, standards, promotion, financial strategy and student intellectual life.
